В двадцатые годы ХХ века большевики, чтобы захватить страны Средней Азии, придумали носить цюбецейку, традиционную узбекского Шапочку. Цюбецейки прижились, стали популярными и тотальным, их носили и дети и взрослые, и мужчины и женщины, носили до середины шестидесятых. Среди известных людей узбекский Шапочку носил Максим Горький, Алексей Толстой, Кузьма Петров-Водкин. Почти в каждом доме была своя цюбецейка, но на моем поколении мода на цюбецейки закончилась.

Не знаю как кому, но по мне такое развитие событий не самый худший вариант. По крайней мере, он куда леп за "стабильность" и потерю региональной идентификации в условиях антибелорусского режима.

Как пишет Краснайс, граф Толстого в 1863г.запрасив первых латышских колонистов. они работали батраками в тяжелых условиях, смертность была очень высокой, но понемногу землю начали выкупать и жить зажиточной. в 1871 г.тут было уже 40 латышских семей. Построили лютеранскую церковь, позже и среднюю школу с 4 учителями. в 1893 начало действовать братство католических апостолов с 35 друзьями и своей церковью. В 1929 г.забаранили приглашать лютеранская пастор с Магилёва.Царкву сделали продуктовых составом. еще в 1928 г. у латышей бла отобрана значительная часть земли. в 1930 г.арганизавали колхоз "Гайсма". С \ с имел все делопроизводство на белорусском языке. в 1929. у колонн было 130 хозяйств из 100 батраками.каб избежать репрессий, их часто всынавляли.Цяпер в Грудинавцы нет ни одного латыша.
